Owyhee River Day 5

It’s the last day on the river. Only about 5 miles until we reach the takeout. Guest are fully enjoying themselves at this point and the guides make a special effort to keep them in the moment and not looking ahead to the end of the trip.

Looks pretty nice wouldn't you say? Could you maybe handle this view for some isolation? Looking back on those sweeping views from Marial Lodge has us thinking of the majestic Rogue River.

The Oywhee river has been running through eastern Oregon cutting its way through canyons and millions of years of geological time. It continues on pushing through, just like every river trip.

Clear skys, crackling campfire and golden towering cliffs. Just the usual Owyhee river campsite. You stay golden Owyhee.

The trip was exciting and just the right amount of challenge for “newbies” at rafting! Our guide, Reed was an amazing young man who really knew the river and guided us well. He also had a great personality and made the trip very memorable. Definitely ready to go again!!! —- The Davis Family from Houston, Tx

We floated the upper Clackamas today doing the full day trip for a group of 6. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged and having fun the entire time. Lunch was good and they tried hard. If you get a chance, definitely GO!
